Nestled on a slight hill in one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods of Goa, Assagao, is Villa 3 – Villa Teca, which means teak in Portuguese. The villa looks out over 55 acres indigenous forest. Built across three floors, we offer lower ground parking and a direct access up to the foyer from here. One enters the villa compound through a beautiful archway with handcrafted teak double doors. A relaxed flight to stairs flanked bycolourful floral plants takes one up to the main double door.

Foyer

The main double panelled teak door welcomes you into the private foyer. Here you will see the magnificent grand marble staircase and a mid century modern console table. We have full height wall panelling which adds to the beauty of the foyer. The handmade black and white tiled flooring adds a depth of character to this room.

Living/Dining

Through large glass double doors, one enters the magnificent living dining space.This incredible space has three large French arch doors that opens onto the beautiful outdoor veranda, overlooking the pool. This seamless indoor outdoor flow makes this living dining space incredibly unique and perfect for a tropical holiday. One of the key features of this living room is the painting of a lady by a local artist called Vitesh Naik. The inspiration of this painting was a lady dreaming and waiting to spread her wings and fly high.

So that you can truly enjoy your meals we have an eight seater table with ample space. Ideal to host holiday dinner parties, with a wooden bar and a console. The bay window overlooking the dining table allows an abundance of natural light for long Goa luncheon afternoons.

Kitchen

Villa Teca offer a fully fitted kitchen fit for a king and queen. If you would like to be pampered, we offer a chef and a butler to cater to all your needs. Alternatively, this fully equipped kitchen is ideal if you are a passionate chef yourself. The kitchen has a spacious breakfast counter which allows families to enjoy a coffee in the morning while they bask in the abundance of natural light or a glass of wine from the wine cooler.

Ground Floor Bedroom

All our bedrooms offer the luxury comforts that one would expect in any 5* luxury hotel from around the world. The ground floor bedroom has a classic upholstered bed and en-suite bathroom. There’s ample storage space for all your belongings so you really feel at home. The four arch windows allow sunlight to pour into the room and yet the blackout curtains offer complete privacy for a great night’s sleep.

First Floor Lounge

The grand marble staircase takes us up to the first floor lounge. This is a quintessential family space with skylight, walkout Juliet balcony. The first thing one notices is the bespoke mustard sofa that contrasts beautifully with the black & white flooring and the fun newspaper print cushions. This room also offers a beautiful corner arm chair with a footstool and a lamp.

First Floor Bedroom 2

This spacious bedroom has a bay window and an arched French door that opens onto the wide terrace with luxurious en-suite bathroom. In this bedroom we offer plentiful storage, a beautiful handcrafted wooden study desk, placed strategically in the bay window to offer an abundance of natural light. The bed is made from cane with an off white finish with matching side tables. As with all our rooms, this too has a walkout Juliet balcony to enjoy an evening drink or some peaceful bird watching.

First Floor Bedroom 3

Walking into this bedroom, you will appreciate the bed, bay window and arched French door opening onto the wide terrace with luxurious en-suite bathroom. Here we offer a walk in wardrobe and a chaise lounge in the bay window for long summer afternoons spent relaxing and snoozing. Like all our bedrooms we offer a handcrafted wooden study in case you need to work from home during your weekends and holidays.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom is of course the largest bedroom in the villa with a bespoke four poster king size bed with matching bedside tables and stunning handcrafted teakwood chest of drawers. The room is large enough to also offer a comfortable corner seating area with a luxurious 3 seater sofa , a comfortable armchair and a large marble clad coffee table. The room is sunlit with six arched French doors leading to Juliet balconies and views of the treetops making you feel as if you are floating above the tree tops. As in all other rooms, this room too has a mid century modern study with a comfortable chair for when you have to work from home.

Master Bathroom

Our master bathroom compliments our master bedroom impeccably. The marble clad bathroom has a generous sized, standalone bathtub, ideal for a relaxing bath while being showered with natural light. The double vanity bathroom is perfect for two, making sure you have the space for all your beauty indulgences. The arch French doors are romantically located by the bath tub and open onto a Juliet balcony, giving you the most sublime view of the tree tops.

Bathrooms

Each room has a beautifully designed en-suite marble clad bathroom which superbly compliment the bedrooms. There is an abundance of natural light in all the bathrooms and each bathroom is uniquely designed with beautiful handcrafted wooden vanities with marble clad spacious countertops and large beautifully designed mirrors and brings to it elements from the adjoining bedrooms to ensure you’re surrounded by luxury and comfort, wherever you are in the villa.
