Foyer

Through the double teak doors we enter the foyer with a beautiful wooden console table and bespoke checker board flooring with a border. We were heavily inspired by the alluring muted English colours while designing this villa, such as sage greens and blues. The walls are panelled, which gives the room a warm and luxurious feel. The foyer houses a charming, antique brass mirror and the grand staircase that takes us to the upper floor. The foyer is accessible through the parking lot in the Lower Ground floor directly, which is a huge advantage in the long Goa monsoon.

Living/Dining

One enters the large living-dining room through two large glass doors. This incredible space has three large French arch doors that open onto the beautiful outdoor veranda, overlooking the pool. One gets a sense of endless space when these doors are open. The room boasts of two bay windows on either side which create surreal sunlit nooks in the dining and living room.  We celebrate our eclectic choice of wall colours as well as upholstery designs. This is most evident in the seamless blending of stripes with circular-shaped sofas.

The grand teakwood dining table seats 8 people. This room is subtly divided into two sections by the intricately handcrafted wooden bar sitting quietly between two of the arch doors.

The covered veranda lets you enjoy the serene outdoor space throughout the day, no matter the weather.  Perfect for long, lovely evenings.

One of the defining, stand-out features of this villa is that the art not only includes the mesmerising painting by local Goan artist, Asmani Shirgaonkar, whose art is inspired by European Master Painters but also the iconic and colourful images from the Tate Art Gallery in London.

We have designed this room with rattan furniture as an ode to the old Portuguese villas. The bed is a minimalistic rattan bed with matching side tables with rattan shutters. As in all our bedrooms, the multiple French doors add a lot of light which creates a happy and relaxed space perfect for a holiday. As with all our rooms, this too has a walkout Juliet balcony to enjoy an evening drink or some peaceful bird watching.
